Specializing in the Great American Songbook
Introducing a group of singers known as Lifted Voices, who perform at senior residences and other facilities on the Westside and South Bay areas.
We spotlight music from the ’20’s through the ’50’s by composers such as The Gershwins, Irving Berlin, Rodgers and Hart, Johnny Mercer and Jerome Kern, to name just a few. These songs are from the Great American Songbook and have stood the test of time! Our programs combine performance with casual audience participation in a relaxed, singer-friendly style. We provide song sheets, a little background to introduce each song, and lots of light-hearted fun for all! We encourage requests and audience participation. Enjoyment through the power of music is our goal! For all the songs you love to sing, lift your spirits with Lifted Voices! It’s happy, healthy, and hearty fun!
